USA Esports Alliance Welcomes Evil Geniuses, G2, and Gen.G
We're proud to welcome Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, and Gen.G Esports as the newest club partners in the USA Esports Alliance.
All three organizations bring meaningful, sustained presence in North America. Evil Geniuses, founded in 1999, is one of the longest-running American esports organizations in the world, with a Los Angeles–based VCT Americas franchise, competitors in 2XKO and Pokémon UNITE, and a track record of grassroots and collegiate-adjacent programming.G2 fields a North American Valorant roster in VCT Americas (coached by American Josh "JoshRT" Lee, who will lead the USA National Team at the Esports Nations Cup this November) along with G2 Minnesota in the Call of Duty League and a U.S.-based Rocket League program dating back to 2016.Gen.G is headquartered in Santa Monica with U.S. rosters in Fortnite, Apex Legends, and the NBA 2K League, and has invested directly in American esports education through multiple partnerships including recently with Arizona State University's GAME School in downtown Los Angeles.
EG, G2, and Gen.G join an Alliance that already includes 100 Thieves, TSM, Team Liquid, Cloud9, FlyQuest, Dignitas, NRG, Misfits, M80, Spacestation, and Ghost, alongside leading collegiate programs across the country. The American esports ecosystem is strongest when its best operators are coordinating with one another, and we're glad to welcome three more legendary organizations to the table as we keep building.
